Belarus to start training blockchain and cryptocurrency specialists

Belarus will develop the first university program for training specialists in the field of blockchain, cryptocurrency and ICO, Belta reports.

The training will be carried out by the Institute for Staff Training and Retraining on Management and Personnel Development of the BNTU. The cost of the training is $966. It is planned that future students will start their studies on March 12. Documents for training can already be submitted.

The course will last 20 months. During this time, students will learn about the principles of working with blockchain, cryptocurrency development, as well as find out why fluctuations in the bitcoin rate are taking place, and study ICO and cryptocurrency derivatives.

Extramural and distance form of study is available. After the training, the graduates will receive the qualification ‘Specialist and analyst of the securities market’.

Information about the teachers is not yet available. The university only stated that the lecturers will be associate professors from the department who have practical experience in the securities market, as well as invited experts.
